Trattoria al Vicolo

This is for me the very best restaurant I have been to! The kitchen is incredibel! I had ordered the vegetarian saffron tagliatelle and the asparagus soufflé. Both were so incredibly good, that I litterally celebrated every bite. In fact, this was the best meal I've ever had! I told this to our extremely friendly waiter. When I came back about one year later, she even remembered me! Those tagliatelle were not on the menu but she asked me, if chef Lilly would make them for me, if I wish to have them again. Of course! Lilly made them especially for me again and they were just delicious! I went back to the kitchen and thanked her personally. What an incredibly restaurant with incredibe cuisine!! I can only highly recommend Al Vicolo and will definitely return there whenever I get the chance to do so!

There is no better place to eat in Gargnano. The employes are incredible nice and the food is delicious.

What a perfect side alley traditional trattoria! The best seafood pasta I have ever had! The sauce must have been reduced over days from the heads and tails of all kinds of fish to produce such an unctuous flavour. Friendly service without being too attentive. Very good value!

I don't know why this place has a low review, as the food was exceptional. Down a cute alley, handwritten specials in the menu. We had an asparagus special and a cheese 'baggos'. The best pasta we've had in a week, for sure. When we finished we asked for the menu again and ordered two more dishes! This time truffle spaghetti, which was again a sensation. Lovely staff, vegetarian options aplenty. White wine was a bit warm :)

Absolutely the most fabulous Italian food we had had on our Lake Garda holiday! Also many more vegetarian options that the places around usually have. Beautiful spot, nicely decorated original Italian style place with lovely staff.

Wow wow wow!A true hidden gem, AMAZING VALUE, fantastic service!I was surprised to see the overall review rare was low but if you look the bad ones where years ago.This place is brilliant!!I went to two restaurants on the lake today around the corner from this restaurant and the service wasn't good and the food was below average.I had a huge plate of bison for 16 and it tasted out of this world. It was cooked perfectly!You could definitely share this with another side.The waitress.... wow she is amazing and so personable and attentive!Thankyou for a fab dining experience!
